Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Safety Precautions
Ensure the vehicle is parked on a stable surface and the parking brake is engaged.
2. Accessing the Taillight
Locate the access panel behind the taillight assembly. Remove the screws or clips holding it in place to expose the taillight.
3. Removing the Old Bulb
Identify the burnt-out bulb. Twist or squeeze the socket to release it from the taillight assembly.
4. Installing the New Bulb
Align the new bulb with the socket and firmly insert it. Ensure it is securely seated.
5. Reassembling the Taillight
Place the taillight back into its housing and tighten the screws or clips to secure it.
6. Testing the Light
Turn on the headlights or brake lights to verify the new bulb is functioning properly.
7. Repeat for Other Side (if necessary)
If both taillights need replacing, repeat the steps for the other side.
