Wout van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) claimed his second stage win of the 2023 Vuelta a España in a bunch sprint finish on Stage 11 from El Barraco to Béjar.
The Belgian champion timed his surge to perfection, edging out Michael Woods (Israel-Premier Tech) and Primož Roglič (Jumbo-Visma) to take the win. Roglič, who finished third, extended his overall lead to 2:31 over nearest rival Ben O'Connor (AG2R Citroën Team).
Other notable results on the stage included Brandon McNulty (UAE Team Emirates) finishing fourth and Sepp Kuss (Jumbo-Visma) taking fifth. The stage was largely uneventful, with a breakaway of four riders being caught inside the final 20 kilometers.
